My name is Avia Reuveni and I am a multidisciplinary artist.

I crave to create, that’s what drives me and that's what makes me wake up in the morning with a smile. I cover all possible creative areas, painting, sculpture, sewing and jewelry.

----- Paint -----

I paint with mixed Media where I combine acrylic and collage. I start with an intuitive and very instinctive and wild work with lots of color and no limitations. The second stage is the stage of thinking in which the painting itself dictates the way to proceed. I add and subtract, calm and vacillated until I reach the moment when I am complete with myself and with the work. My artistic activity is influenced by my inner world and is full of joy and optimism, although there are those who will find sadness, demons and spirits in the paintings, they will always be in color and humor.

Because my motto in life is that thought creates reality, so I think only good, surround myself with a happy and creative smile and get a lot of it back.

----- Sculpture in Jeans -----

In general, I love recycling very much and I have a warehouse full of things I might do something with at some point. I did not study sewing and I actually chisel the cloth.

I place the pieces of jeans on myself or on a sample doll, staple and sew, cut and paint. And in the end there is a garment that is kind of a work of art, which makes me very happy. And I hope will make other women who think like me happy too. Women who think that everything that is different, unique and not like what everyone else have, is worth the most. Because when you do not dress like everyone else you do not think like everyone else.

And when you do not think like everyone else it’s awesome.

The extended family gathers the jeans for me. Although we got a joke running in the family, you should not leave jeans without watch, because ownerless jeans will not be returned.

And from time to time you will hear from our house shouting: "Where is my black jeans mom?" "I hope it’s not sawed to one of your dresses" ?? !!!

And occasionally.. or even often there’s a chance it actually is.

I create the jewelry from natural materials combined with the fimo, which I process in different ways to give it an antique look.

Some of the jewelry is made out of jeans and some of the stones I collected on Caesarea’s beach.
